"Gollum at the Crack of Doom"
At the conclusion of The Lord of the Rings Frodo and Gollum fight for the Ring on Frodo's finger at the edge of the the Crack of Doom on the volcano, Mt. Doom. Gollum bites off Frodo's finger, holds the Ring up in triumph, loses his balance, and falls back into the fire, destroying the One Ring, along with himself, and setting off the eruption of the volcano. This comes from my original series of the Lord of the Rings paintings. I like the orange against the violets and Gollum's greenish skin here, and the action of the figures.
