This is probably my last painting of my beloved Ann. It contains the whole story of Ann and Paul and our life together. It represents our love and appreciation of the Arts with Shakespeare. We did it all, opera, ballet, theater, art museums, everything world class. I wouldn't have ever achieved what I have without Ann. The Skip Spence says about that. The painting is dated under the Ann bird as a representation of it. This one's hers. The love birds are our physical love, which was nonstop. I'm as organized with my time as anyone I know, and I always blocked out 4 hrs. or so for Ann every day. True Blue Love was Ann if anything was. Arranging bouquets was such a big part of her. This is my only painting of her with flowers. Finally, "Later Gator, Luv ya always and miss ya SO much, Ann...Paul" our greetings/feelings for each other.
