From my first trip to Tombstone in 2006. It's a cool slice of the Old West with gunfights in the streets (fake of course) period architecture, and of course re-creations of the Gunfight at the OK Corral. The Tomstone Stage is a hokie tourist attraction that goes about two or three blocks up the street, then back. Despite that I found it interesting enough to paint. I like the contrast between the facade of the buildings and the blue of the awning and the light blue of the street, both of which are genuine Lapis Lazuli, with the
deep orange red.
